There is a very sophisticated spot in Knightsbridge, almost hidden at a corner at the back of Harrods.
Directly from Paris, the historical patisserie Laduree proposes delicious sweets in a super chic and luxury setting.
Laduree at Harrods is a tea room with scenographyc interior decoration and a display that you will strongly desire to immortalize with your camera but unfortunately it is not allowed to take any pictures here.
Macarons are the speciality of Laduree. They are small double-decker cakes, soft in the middle, offered in different flavours, colours and sizes.
You can have them as side for your afternoon tea of coffee or buy how many you want, take them away and have an original and stylish gift box for yourself or your friends once back home.
The taste will not disappoint you, it's delicate and pleasant and the latest one, born last spring, is Bergamot.
Laduree is also in Burlington Arcade in Piccadilly.
