Airdiem is a French company born from the desire of their owners to re-invent the smoking room, that special place for sensual pleasure and conviviality.
We are therefore invited by Airdiem to share their passion for narghile (also known as a narghileh, argileh, waterpipe, kalian, shisha, ghelyoon, hooka or hubble-bubble) a cosmolitan object.
Traditionally a feature of Mediterranean culture and accessory symbolising "letting go", the narghile is all about relaxing, escaping and sharing the art of living and from Airdiem comes together with smoking-room accessories such as mixture boxes, humidors, moveable furniture and more items always luxurious and inspiring to dream.
They are all made with fine materials like gold, silver, rare exotic woods and precious leathers.
The name Airdiem suggests preciousness: air standing for lightness and reverie, and diem comes from the motto carpe diem.
Airdiem shows in such major salons as the Maison & Objet in Paris, ABC Design in Milan, the Hotel Show & Index in Dubai and has won numerous design awards for example, the Observeur du design award in 2008 and the Henry Van de Velde award in 2007.
