It's in the pink nursery on the top floor of this victorian house in Gloucester Road of Kensington & Chelsea, where he had lived for several years, that the writer James Matthew Barrie wrote his visionnaire novel Peter Pan.
The character and his adventures were inspired to Barrie by a group of teenagers met during walks with his dog across the garden square opposite the house and through Kensington gardens.
Just for us to know, the house - now vacant - not too long ago was looking for a tenant ready to move to this REAL fairytale setting with 2 huge reception rooms, a big wood stair leading to 4 bedrooms all differently coloured and 3 bathrooms with original period fittings and accessories.
Just for us to know the request was GBP 3,000 pw.
