Londonrevue was created and founded in November 2008 by Annalisa de Hassek and a team of journalists based in the UK.
Today Editor of Londonrevue, Annalisa de Hassek, after graduating in foreign Languages and Literatures and specialising with a MA in Publishing, has developed a wide experience in writing both online and on printed paper as author, editor-in chief for groups such as Mondadori in Italy and Gimo LTD in the UK.
She is also freelance editor and journalist for independent editorial projects in the educational field.
During her life she has lived and worked in many regions of Italy and Europe and has travelled all over the 5 continents.
She lives in London, vibrant city capital of the world and through Londonrevue she aims to share with you her knowledge of the city which has always so much to offer.
In 2010 Reya von Galen joined forces with Annalisa de Hassek as co-editor of Londonrevue. Together they aim to expand and strengthen the buoyant and growing e-magazine that Londonrevue has become. Reya von Galen is an experienced journalist who grew up in London, Paris and Vienna and holds a Masters degree in Political Sciences and Journalism.
She wrote her thesis on Great Britain and the EU for which she researched at the London School of Economics (LSE) and enrolled at the London School for Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) where she studied acting and directing.
Her career working for a weekly television program led her to interview such diverse personalities as Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan, Jacques Attali in Paris or Ahmet Ertegun in NewYork as well as Zbigniew Brzezinski in Washington, Otto Habsburg-Lothringen in Brussels, Claudia Cardinale in Paris and Emir Kusturica in Munich to name but a few.
Reya von Galen also writes as a freelance journalist for a variety of newspapers and magazines, produces documentaries and reports for television and is Artistic Director of Theater Die Neue Tribune in Vienna.
She also has knowledge of the financial world through her former work within Mergers and Acquisitions at Merrill Lynch.
Having spent her early years in London where she still has a home, Reya von Galen is passionate about this culturally thriving and truly cosmopolitan city and is dedicated to bringing London closer to readers of Londonrevue as well as bringing readers of Londonrevue closer to international events.
